Lasonya D. Moore is an accomplished AI transformation and enterprise technology leader with over 25 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, and organizational change, spanning global organizations including IBM, Avaya, and Marsh McLennan. She specializes in helping organizations move from experimentation to real adoption by embedding AI and modern digital capabilities into how work gets done, driving measurable improvements in productivity, decision-making, and operational performance.

Currently serving as an IT Leader and Delivery Director in the Office of the CIO at Marsh McLennan, Lasonya leads enterprise-wide initiatives across Artificial Intelligence, infrastructure modernization, cloud, and workforce transformation. She has successfully managed complex, multi-million-dollar portfolios, developed strategic technology roadmaps, and partnered with executive leadership to translate technical capabilities into clear business value and outcomes. Her work includes leading AI enablement programs, facilitating executive workshops, and designing adoption strategies that ensure sustainable, organization-wide transformation.

Lasonya’s career foundation includes 16 years at IBM, where she progressed from Staff Software Engineer to Strategy Manager, leading global initiatives supporting over 15,000 participants and 500+ vendors, and driving enterprise solution delivery, product strategy, and Agile transformation. She also served as a Senior IT Portfolio Manager at Avaya, overseeing global digital platforms and ensuring operational excellence, risk management, and alignment with strategic business priorities.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Lasonya is the President of JLM Venture Group, where she leads strategic growth across construction, real estate, transportation, and training ventures. She oversees operations, project execution, and business development, bringing a disciplined, results-driven approach to scaling and diversifying business portfolios.

Lasonya is also the Founder and Director of Plan Empower Grow (PEG), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping small business owners succeed through training, education, and consulting. Through PEG, she has supported and empowered over 600 small business owners, providing resources, workshops, and strategic guidance to help entrepreneurs grow and sustain their businesses.

Beyond her work in technology and business, Lasonya is a professional storyteller and creator of storytelling experiences that center around authenticity, perspective, and human connection. She actively designs and hosts storytelling forums and events that give voice to diverse experiences, using storytelling as a tool to inspire, educate, and foster belonging across communities and organizations.

She is also deeply committed to personal growth and discipline, actively participating in CrossFit and the sport of Fencing, both of which reflect her strategic mindset, resilience, and competitive drive.
